About Us
On our website, you will find information about our research, our projects, and our publications. You can also learn about our upcoming events and how to get involved in our work. We welcome you to explore our website and learn more about what we do. We hope that you will find our work to be both informative and inspiring.

Sē~DiRe Group
We specialize in understanding mechanisms of post-seismic/aseismic landslides and debris flows induced by rainfall and snowmelt. For this, we employ laboratory-scale experiments and slope/catchment-scale process-based numerical modeling. In our recent works, we focus on modeling the frozen ground, cold region hydrology, snow accumulation, and melt processes to analyze the stability of shallow slopes and triggering of debris flows. Very recently we focus on extreme-rainfall induced sediment disasters. We aim to translate our fundamental understandings of mass movements into real-time early warning systems operating at territorial-scales.
Our Connections
We are grateful for the support of our great partners who help make our lab work. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we are proud to have them as part of our team.
